It's a long road to Reims - about 7 years...
Reims in France has a very impressive cathedral. Well worth a visit if you are ever in the area. The scale is impressive. There's a lot going on. There is a lot of detail. An immense amount of symbolic adornment and detail. Far to busy for my own subjective tastes - very impressive none the less, and then there is the inside! A building project with such commitment and dedication through many, many years and lives of undertaking to carry out, like so many of these great structures, created within a very strong belief system incentive.
Reims is also home to many of the great Champagne houses. The 'Capital of Champagne'
...and so finally we are at no.1 Avenue de Champagne - Veuve Clicquot, at the visitor centre of the cellars. The tour will come later. We are here to install the Insictor bench.
The chandelier above Insictor bench is great. It's orange for a start! Madame widow Clicquot casts her gaze upon proceedings - hopefully in approval!
So, if you happen to find yourself in Reims and happen to be going on a tour of the cellars at Veuve Clicquot you will be able to experience Insictor for yourself.
In other delayed news - Dragon Kre chair receives guild mark no.464 from the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.
